Arthi Ravishankar is an experienced Software QA Engineer with a strong background in both networking and e-commerce industries. With a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Anna University, Arthi has gained extensive knowledge and skills in Java, Python, Perl, C, and networking protocols such as Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP), OSPF, BGP, and ERP. Currently working at Amazon as a Quality Assurance Engineer since January 2016, Arthi has been responsible for designing and developing software applications, enhancement algorithms, and E2E software automation framework and tests for the features owned. As a QA Lead, she has driven projects during key milestones by interacting with the project management and development teams, developed quick test solutions solving ambiguous problems, and efficiently planned and managed the project to meet the quality within the release timelines. Arthi has also led a team of Test Associates on the technical front and handled customer escalations, key releases, and milestones sign-offs. Her component/feature ownership includes Alexa (Wakeword), Fire TV cubes and Fire Tablets, Display Framework for Android-based Kindle E-Readers, 3P App Compatibility on Amazon Fire Tablets, and Multimedia for Amazon Fire TV Recast, Performance on Fire Tablets, Fire TVs, and SmartTVs. Prior to Amazon, Arthi worked at Juniper Networks as a Test Engineer, where she designed and developed test strategies and plans, developed end-to-end automation for various features, handled field escalation, and mentored new team members. Her feature ownership included Ethernet Ring Protection Switching Version 2 (ITU-T G.8032), MIB support of EOAM, RFC2544 reflector support for MX(MPC 1,2), CLI and SNMP MIB support for firewall, NH and Heap memory, and Multi hashing solution for ECMP routes. Arthi also conducted research on Availability Enhancement Model for Virtual Machines over Hypervisor Attacks, which was published in the International Journal on Signal Processing Systems (IJSPS) and considered for patent filing. Arthi's tech stack includes QA, test, Software Engineer, SDET, Android, Python, and Java.
