Arthur also served as Vice President of Engineering at Everquote, where he was responsible for the 3rd party distribution side of an insurance leads SaaS platform. He led an organization that holistically managed all aspects of software development and deployment and introduced a Cost of Delay framework. Arthur transitioned the organization from an aging monolithic Ruby code base running directly onto EC2 to modern practices, upgrading the codebase as they went to avoid all at once high-risk rewrite. He actively managed staff to change culture around new technology and hosted weekly tech talks on relevant topics.
