Arul Paramasivam is a seasoned Director of Digital Technology Consulting at Cognizant, with over 10 years of experience in designing and implementing information technology solutions with global teams. He has progressively grown with responsibilities on service delivery in companies with global teams, with emerging technology solutions for solving complex mission-critical business problems in a number of key industries. Arul has worked seamlessly with business, executives, engineering, product development, infrastructure, and management, and practiced effective communication means to collaborate and produce solutions that helped businesses grow, sustain the satisfaction of customers with Digital Solutions, Product Engineering, and management of technology solutions. He is an expert in developing P-SAAS Solutions, multi-tier distributed systems, Enterprise Application Integration systems, Web Enabled Legacy Applications, Database applications, Security systems, Digital Platform, NANO, Android Software architecture, and has extensive experience in Android, Integration, Web, infra, and DevOps. Arul is also a leader in Non-Profit Volunteer Organizations like San Diego Blood Bank, Mass Literacy Campaign, Public Education, and Women Empowerment, and is looking for opportunities to serve as Volunteer Leader, Board Member. He was awarded for Product Innovation in Intuit by the Governor of the State of California. Currently, Arul is the Technical Director at mindtree, where he is re-architecting the CRM digital platform, meeting business vision of growing business with faster time to market leveraging third party technology solutions, re-factoring custom-built CRM platform with partner platform for agility and revenue-generating partner models. He is also building a DevOps Platform for supporting CRM Product Engineering. Prior to this, Arul worked as an Associate Director - Consulting at igate, where he led the Retail and Commercial Digital Channels Technology for MUFG Union Bank. He also worked as a Senior Consultant at MUFG Americas, where he executed Application Development, Productization of Digital Channels for retail and commercial banking/financial services using Scrum Agile Development methodology leveraging Global work force across several time zones. Arul holds an ME in Engineering from Annamalai University, an Engineer's Degree from GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING, and a Diploma in Engineering from Muthiah Polytechnic, Directorate of Technical Education. He also has several certifications in communication, project management, engineering, and visualization technologies from Toast Master International, Inc, Invisible Elephant Training and Consulting, IBM, and Parametric Technology Corporation.
