Arun Abraham is an experienced Software Engineer with a specialization in Machine Learning software. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Google, he is also pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Arun has worked with Samsung as a Staff Engineer in the Machine Learning team and was one of the founding members of the Samsung Neural Acceleration Platform (SNAP) team. He has optimized performance, memory, and battery usage, which enabled the successful deployment of over 8 unique ML features across 60+ Samsung Galaxy devices, including S8, S9, S10, S20, S21, and S22. Some of the features he worked on include Portrait Mode, Bixby Vision, AR Emoji, and Night Mode. Prior to his role as a Staff Engineer, Arun worked as an Engineer in the Machine Learning team at Samsung. He has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from NIT Calicut and is expected to complete his Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2023.
