Arun Chouhan is an accomplished Tech Lead with over 8 years of experience in software development, research, and design. Currently working at Charzer as a Technical Lead, Arun has architected and designed the complete backend of the company, utilizing his expertise in compression techniques, automation, and building usable tools and design patterns. Prior to his current role, Arun worked at Cars24 as a Senior Software Engineer where he developed and maintained the backend of the company's buy used cars platform from scratch. He was also responsible for implementing some of the cool features, such as creating a recommendation system for buyers who are interested in similar types of cars in lead management system. Additionally, Arun created Cars24 Whatsapp Chat Bot from scratch as a separate microservice and developed a URL shortner for the whole organization which works at 200TPS at peak hours. Before joining Cars24, Arun was a Software Development Engineer at Paytm Payments Bank, where he moved monolithic Merchant Admin Panel to micro-service architecture and implemented the on-boarding of POS machines for Paytm merchants to provide seamless transaction and its settlement directly to their bank accounts. Arun holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the National Institute of Technology Raipur. He is skilled in a range of technologies including backend development, recommendation systems, ML, microservices, and parts-of-speech.
