He is currently the SVP & Head - India Technology Operations at L Brands, where he leads business and technology transformation initiatives. Arun has a strong technology and business transformation expertise, leveraging SaaS applications, PaaS, digital commerce, mobile, data, analytics, AI, IOT, and embedded systems across Fortune 500’s and global start-ups. He has experience building, leading, and transforming large Technology Centres, GIC, GCC, R&D Centre. Arun has board experience and is experienced in working with Global & Regional Boards/Board members, advising, consulting & evaluating opportunities to future proof businesses. As a member of the board, he has represented and led legal entities, company operations, and handled regulatory/statutory compliances. Arun's solutions include building technology products/platforms across industries and domains such as Consumer Internet, Digital Commerce, Mobile Apps, SaaS products, embedded products, IOT, etc. He is skilled in spotting business opportunities and creating new products, services, and revenue streams. He specializes in digital transformation of traditional businesses and has experience leading large organizations as start-ups as well as leading start-ups to scale. Arun has a proven track record of building high-performing teams and organization capabilities, transforming organization culture. He is currently the Managing Director at Expedia and has led strategy & product development. He spearheaded a large-scale product platform transformation to consolidate 5 product platforms serving a multi-billion-dollar product line. He provided leadership to a globally distributed team. In his past roles, Arun has worked as the Senior Vice President at Victoria's Secret, where he led the overall country technology operations for digital Commerce, data & analytics platform & associated enterprise applications enabling world-class brands Victoria Secret and Bath and Body Works. He also transformed the digital platform, scaled up India operation to build new digital capabilities, and grew the International business. Arun has also worked as the Country Manager at GSN (a Sony company), where he spearheaded the take-over and transition of the acquired business from the founders & integrated it into the mainstream global organization. He successfully led the post-acquisition integration of the mobile app business and enabled revenue growth & delivered an improvement in cost efficiency.
