Arun Kumar is a Distinguished Engineer at E6X, with over 35 years of experience in software design and development. He has a passion for writing quality software and has been delivering quality software products since 1991. Arun has an impressive portfolio of software developed, including a Time Series Graph Database, Java SDN Controller using Opendaylight, Streaming XML Parser, XPath query parser, compiler & runtime engine, XML Schema Parser & Validator, and Internals of Relational Databases, among others. Arun is currently leading the engineering team at E6X, where he is surrounded by smart folks with great skills, an unsatiated hunger to achieve, and an eagerness to deliver world-class software. He enjoys working with his team and is having a blast on a daily basis. Arun is fully aware that his team is confident, fearless, and not intimidated by his experience or reputation. He appreciates that they do not hesitate to rip him apart and eat him alive if he ever falters slightly technically. Prior to his current role, Arun worked as a Principal Engineer at Cisco, where he successfully designed and completed the implementation of a Time Series Graph Database. He was also part of the LMS team at SAP, where he worked as a Development Expert and contributed to optimizing long-running SQL queries. Arun holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bapuji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Davanagere. He also completed his +2 from Railway Mixed Higher Secondary School and SSLC from Kannada Sangha School. Arun's tech stack includes Neo4j, Java, SQL, and he is a Senior Software Engineer. He is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of relevant experience in software engineering.
