Arun Lakshmanan is a highly experienced Director of Product Development at Epicor Software, with over 20 years of experience in leading development organizations and delivering SaaS and enterprise software products. He has a successful track record of delivering online payments, bill payments, ERP, and business integration software products by leading global teams. Arun is a great people leader who is passionate about developing high-performance teams through coaching and mentoring engineers. He has the ability to influence and collaborate with partner organizations and cross-functional teams across all levels and cultural backgrounds. Currently, Arun is leading the engineering team for payments, retail, and lumber building material ERP products at Epicor Software. He has successfully delivered retail cloud products by leading 70+ engineers, including the Epicor Retail Cloud (ERC), a born-in-cloud retail cloud product that caters to the SMB market in the US. He has also delivered the Epicor Payment application as a shared service, which encapsulates interaction with Pinpad like Ingencio, etc. and processes payment transactions with multiple processors. EPA is certified with leading processors like FDMS US and Canada, World Pay, PaymenTech, PayPal, etc. EPA supports EMV and MSR cards and is also PADSS certified. Prior to his current role, Arun served as a Sr. Manager of Software Development at Epicor Software and as a Manager of Software Development at ACI Worldwide. At ACI Worldwide, he was responsible for engineering management of the $150M Bill Payment business, managing around 50 engineers' team located across the US, Russia, and India. He also managed the $70M business on Enterprise Banker online banking product, a web-based payment initiation product focused on the US market that enables corporate customers to initiate different types of payment transactions like ACH, Wire, etc. Arun holds a Master's in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University and completed his high school education at Railway School, Perambur, Chennai. His technical skills include software engineering, integration, and web development. With 25.70 years of relevant experience, Arun is a highly skilled and experienced professional in the software development industry.
