Arun is a seasoned Engineer with over 6.5 years of experience in architecting, automating, and supporting applications and networks on AWS. He currently works as a DevOps Lead at indee.tv, where he utilizes his expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, Flux, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Fluentd, Python, Golang, Linux, and Serverless to build and maintain the company's infrastructure. Previously, Arun worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Inspirit, where he was recruited to build and maintain backend services for the Inspirit iOS and desktop application. During his tenure, he built the platform infrastructure on Kubernetes, established GitOps workflows, developed and owned a couple of backend services, implemented service mesh for better observability and monitoring, and designed a solution to host multiple game servers. Before joining Inspirit, Arun worked as a DevOps Engineer at Flux7, where he was responsible for helping customers in their journey adopting AWS following industry best practices with emphasis on the transfer of knowledge. During his tenure, he designed and managed solutions to host multiple Streamlit apps on ECS, built the infrastructure for hosting a geo-distributed VPN using Palo Alto firewalls, simplified AWS networking by migrating to Transit Gateway and Route53 resolver, built a log ingestion engine to aggregate and visualize logs in Graylog, and helped with the migration of tomcat apps to ECS. Arun holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Mahatma Gandhi University.
