Arun Mohanavelu is an Automation Test Lead at Foodhub with over 9 years of strong expertise in Quality Engineering. He is skilled in Test Automation, Java, nodejs, Selenium, WebDriverIO, graphql api, RESTful WebServices and Appium. Arun is currently responsible for leading the automation testing efforts at Foodhub, ensuring that all software development projects are delivered with the highest level of quality. Prior to joining Foodhub, Arun worked as a Senior Software Quality Engineer II at Caratlane - a Tanishq partnership, where he led the Quality Engineering deliverable of the entire e-commerce website. He developed a test automation framework from scratch for automating graphql and rest APIs using nodejs, mocha and chai. Arun also automated the Caratlane web app using WebdriverIO and nodejs, tested CL API performance using jmeter and pagespeed performance using google Lighthouse. He was able to reduce effort through automation and capture automation metrics. Additionally, Arun tested and delivered the Caratlane Silver Jewellery App and automated Rest APIs using Java and Rest-Assured. Arun also worked as a Lead Quality Engineer at Altimetrik, where he developed a hybrid automation framework using Selenium, TestNG and Java for AltiFin-PaySa application(Web & Android Platform). He led a team of 5 members for the delivery of automating 500+ manual test cases, automated AltiFin Rest APIs using Rest-assured and gson, and implemented a CI system for performing Build Verification Test (BVT) and Regression Test using Jenkins. Arun was also involved in providing Altimetrik Quality Engineering Automation presentation/demo to customers. He also worked as a Test-Consultant for Ford Motor Company from Altimetrik, where he automated the FordPass mobile app(iOS and Android) using Perfecto mobile cloud, Appium & Java. Arun holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Anna University. He has a relevant experience of 11.03 years and is proficient in various technologies such as test, SDET, NodeJS, Selenium, Java, qa, Web, Mobile, Jenkins, and iOS.
