He currently holds the position of Senior Threat Researcher, where he is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including vulnerability research, development of IPS/IDS signatures, testing of IPS/IDS, integrity monitoring, and log inspection signatures for quality, functionality, false positives, false negatives, regression, performance, soak testing, and more. Arun is a master at analyzing network traffic captures with tcpdump, Wireshark, and Microsoft Network Monitor. He has also researched network protocols in detail to apply his knowledge in creating IPS signatures and thoroughly testing them.
