Arun Parmar is an experienced engineer who is currently experimenting with Data Engineering. He has a strong background in the internet industry and has worked with various programming languages including Erlang, Java, C#, and Python. Arun is skilled in debugging code, MySQL, and optimization. He is also experienced in working with Alexa and conducting research and development. Arun's current role is as an Engineering Manager at redBus, where he is responsible for managing a team of engineers. Prior to this, he held the positions of Senior Technical Lead and Technical Team Lead at redBus. In his previous role, he worked on the massively scalable and fault-tolerant E-commerce inventory platform (Search) at redBus powered by Erlang/OTP. Arun has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree focused in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Punjab Technical University. He also holds a School Certification from Him Academy Public School. Arun is skilled in various technologies such as Senior Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Research Scientist, Pandas, MySQL, Python, Java, and Search. He has over 12 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, Arun is experimenting with Data Engineering and is using Python as a language, Jupiter as a notebook, and Awsome Pandas and Statsmodel for forecasting and making predictions with low error percentage. He is a strong engineering professional with a passion for exploring new technologies and solving complex problems.
