Arun Rajeevan is a Solutions Architect with over 9 years of relevant experience in the IT industry. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune. Arun is a certified AWS Developer Associate (June 2018) and has completed Security Innovation Application Security Training. He has expertise in RESTful API design and implementation, microservice architecture, cloud-based development and debugging, unit testing, and API testing. He is also proficient in IOT, GraphQL, serverless architecture, and OOPs. Arun has a beginner level understanding of Blockchain technology. Arun has worked with various deployment technologies such as Docker, Serverless, CloudFormation, and AWS SAM. He has experience working with database technologies such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, and AWS. Arun has beginner level knowledge of Angular and React web UI frameworks. He is an expert in API documentation using Swagger and API testing using Postman. Arun follows Agile (SCRUM) methodology for project management. Arun is an active tech blogger and shares his knowledge through his Medium blog. He has also started sharing his code samples on Github. Arun believes that basics are essential no matter what technology one learns. His dream is to develop a solution considering all the 'lities' such as scalability, security, maintainability, quality, readability, configurability, deployability, usability, testability, and the list keeps ongoing. Currently, Arun is working as a Solutions Architect at Till Pos. Previously, he worked as a Back End Team Lead at Smart Joules Pvt. Ltd. and as a Team Leader at M3bi. At Smart Joules, he was responsible for understanding the IOT architecture and the data ingestion pipelines. He reviewed the existing IOT-based backend system, documented the existing deployment diagram, and API contracts. He also implemented the Notification Service (Email and SMS). At M3bi, he was responsible for understanding and estimating the user stories, guiding the teammates with design and implementation, interfacing with the onsite counterparts to understand the project vision, and developing proof of concepts. He also kick-started an internal project to automate the recruitment process using the latest web technologies.
