Arun Ramachandran is a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer, Planisware Developer, and Project Management professional with 2.77 years of experience. He is an IBM Data Science Foundations Specialist and has received prestigious scholarships from edX & The Macquarie Group and Udacity & Bertelsmann for the year 2020. Arun is passionate about gaining in-depth knowledge of Embedded Systems using PIC 16/18 Microcontroller and designing C programming projects based on it. During his college years, he underwent training in Wildlife Management using Remote Sensing, Geospatial techniques, and GIS at WWF-India in Indira Gandhi Conservation and Monitoring Centre, Delhi, using ARCGIS and ERDAS IMAGINE. He has extensively worked on Land Use and Land Cover Maps of various regions and gained informative and wonderful exposure to the ARCGIS/ARCMAP platform. He also explored the overview of Urban Commons, especially Urban Green and Urban Environmental Commons. Recently, Arun worked on a flagship project on SECURE HIMALAYA landscapes for Uttarkashi and Pithoragarh districts of Uttarakhand, which is funded by UNDP and MoEF&CC at WWF-India. Currently, Arun is working as a Student Mentor/Coach at dphi for the Machine Learning Advanced Bootcamp. He has also worked as a Trainee at dphi for the Machine Learning Advanced Online Bootcamp and participated in the DPhi AI Changemakers Programme, where he created a local AI community from scratch and kept the members engaged through a plethora of events with consistent support and aid from DPhi. Arun holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Sikkim Manipal University and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Instrumentation & Control from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He has also completed several certificate courses in Data Science, Statistics, and Machine Learning from prestigious institutions like MITx, edX, World Quant University, Udacity, The Coding School, and University of Michigan. Arun's tech stack includes Data Science, Software Engineering, and Machine Learning. He is a versatile professional with a strong background in technical and non-technical aspects of the industry. He is a quick learner and an excellent team player with a passion for exploring new technologies and problem-solving.
