Arun is a passionate coder and creative problem solver who is always eager to learn new things. With extensive experience in iOS development, Arun has a deep understanding of the platform and is skilled in designing and developing high-quality apps. He is also passionate about UI/UX design and machine learning and has experience working with these technologies. Prior to his current role, Arun worked as a Senior Software Engineer(iOS) at Circles.Life and as a Software Engineer on the Mobile Engineering Team (iOS) at Looplist. During his time at Looplist, Arun developed a caching mechanism using Core Data for the iOS app, which significantly improved user experience by reducing the time taken for data load from over 6 seconds to just 2 seconds. He also implemented a web scraper for the iOS app to extract and provide data to a search database and integrated a user-user messaging feature for the iOS app using Socket.IO Client framework, which increased daily active users by 5x times, from 100 to 500 approx. Arun holds a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Management Information Systems from Utah State University, a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Information Technology from PSG College of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from Anna University. He is skilled in a range of technologies including iOS, software engineering, design, ML, UI, mobile, search, and web.
