Arun Venkatesh is an accomplished engineering leader with over 13 years of experience in Machine Learning, Data, Mobile, Frontend, Backend, and Infrastructure engineering. He is currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Guidewire Software, where he is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering distributed software systems at scale. Arun is passionate about building Machine Learning Systems that make a positive impact and has a particular interest in DeepRL. Prior to joining Guidewire, Arun worked at TD Ameritrade as a Senior Engineer - Algorithms and ML, where he developed various retail platforms for stocks and options trading for TD Ameritrade customers on mobile and browsers. These applications were designed to be scalable and responsive, allowing customers to validate trade ideas by using research data, earnings analysis, and charting. Arun has also worked at UBS as a Software Engineer, where he gained valuable experience in developing software systems for the finance industry. He has a Master's degree in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Bharathiyar University. Arun is a versatile engineer who has experience in a wide range of technologies, including Senior Software Engineer, ML, Mobile, infra, Research Scientist, Frontend, Backend, and Software Engineer.
