Aruna Prakash is an aspiring technologist and an incoming MEM student at Duke University. She is a final year student of Computer Science Engineering at MIT Chromepet, Anna University with a great appreciation for the way technology has made our lives simple and efficient. Aruna has relevant work experience in Software Development, Research, and Project Management. Currently, Aruna is working as a Product Management Intern at Virtusa. She has also worked as an AI Research and Development Summer Intern and Winter Intern at Zoho Labs. During her internships, she worked with professionals under the AI Security Program to explore applying AI/ML to enhance web security, assessed bot behavior by collecting behavioral metrics/data points from the client-side, and devised an ML model on the server-side to statistically predict whether a user is a bot or a human. Aruna also worked with the Computer Vision Team on building Convolutional Neural Networks for Foreground Image Recognition. Aruna's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Madras Institute of Technology, and a High School Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering from PSBB KK Nagar. Aruna's tech stack includes product management, AI, Java, research scientist, ML, software engineering, web, computer vision, and neural networks. With 1.03 years of relevant experience, Aruna is ready to drive the unlimited potential of technology and make a positive impact on society.
