Arunachalam's previous role at flipkart as a Technical lead for all functional and non-functional requirements related to Order Management System at FK has equipped him with extensive knowledge of Kafka, Java, MySQL, Microservices, and Senior Software Engineering. He was a key member of the OMS team involved in defining models, datastore choice, building data pipelines consumed by all clients of OMS at Flipkart. He was primarily responsible for maintaining the sanity of data required for powering MyOrders, OrderDetails, etc. He has also been part of 2 full migrations one from MySQL to VoltDB(partial involvement) and another from VoltDB to HBase based DS(Yak)(complete ownership). Arunachalam has a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, and a Higher Education degree from Kendriya Vidyalaya. He has also designed and implemented a standalone request/response profiler which could be used to run regression tests comprehensive enough to tap all external calls made within a JVM based on annotations.
