Arunima Sharma is a Product Manager and Social Entrepreneur with a passion for problem-solving and a mission to use technology and empathy to make a positive impact on the world. Currently working at Salesforce as an Associate Product Manager 2, Arunima is responsible for building trust using security engineering for customers, and leading user interface/user experience and customer adoption of the entire identity management product portfolio. She has launched 11 small feature improvements, one big feature for identity management application, and ideation, planning, and launch of "IAM Intake App" built on top of Salesforce technology. Intake App increased product management team efficiency for request intake from customers, stakeholders, and leaders by approximately 60%. Arunima is also the Founder and CEO of APM Club, where she leads an incredible team creating community-driven programs that help early career PMs accelerate their careers. Prior to her current role, Arunima has worked as a PM intern at five companies ranging from early-stage startups to Microsoft AI. She has also been internationally published for her ML research in 2017 on improving medical provision conditions in India and won HackNY 2018 for a computer vision project helping navigation applications like Google Maps become more accessible to the differently sighted. Arunima is a TEDx Speaker and has described her model of persistence as an important tool for success. Her personal passions include solving problems of communities around her and making them more diverse, inclusive, and accessible. Arunima deeply cares about uplifting communities as she believes stronger uplifted communities help one grow faster. Arunima's favorite tools for problem-solving include social initiatives, CS, and business intelligence. Her favorite technologies include artificial intelligence, especially recommendation systems, NLP, and computer vision, identity and access management. Arunima has a Master of Science in Operations Research (Track- Entrepreneurship) from Columbia University, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Specialization: Machine Learning) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, and a Summer Intensive Certification in Computer Science from Stanford University.
