Arunkumar is a seasoned DevOps Manager (Technical) with over 13 years of experience in the field of QA and Development using scripting. He has extensive experience in Test automation and framework development using PERL and Python, and is proficient in the virtualization environment with ESXi, Xen, KVM, VMware-vCenter, and XenDesktop. Arunkumar is also experienced in the networking domain, testing QOS, DPI, WCCP, WAN, and has worked with tools like HP QC/ALM, Bugzilla, HP-QuiX, Git, SVN, P4, Jira, Version One, basic PowerShell, and Linux Shell scripting. Currently working as a Staff Engineer at VMware, Arunkumar has previously worked with Avi Networks as a Member of Technical Staff and with Wipro as an Automation Test Engineer. At Avi Networks, he was responsible for test automation using Perl, Python, and Robot framework, and developed system scripts using Perl and Python for the product. He has also developed test automation for QOS and Classifier using Perl-based Akamai’s automation framework, WCCP test automation using Python-based Robot framework, and wrapper for Nightly Test execution and Dashboard report using basic PHP and HTML. At Wipro, Arunkumar developed scripts in Perl for the test cases of the product VCM and VCSU, ran the Perl test scripts from Quality Center vapi-xp, and updated the result. He also executed the test cases manually as well as through Perl scripts, developed library functions to be used in scripts, and analyzed the functional test cases and selected the automatable ones. Arunkumar holds a Master's degree in Embedded System Technologies from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from RMD Engineering College. He also has a SSLC degree in Maths from Vellayen Chettiar Hr. Sec School. Arunkumar is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Python, AWS, DevOps, SDET, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, PHP, CI/CD, Software Engineer, QA, SRE, Docker, MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL, Postgres, GCP, Integration, Mobile, and Web.
