Aruntapan Dash is a highly motivated and energetic individual with strong interpersonal skills and a state-of-the-art thinking approach. He is a Doctoral Candidate at Washington State University and an Ex-Engineer at Collins Aerospace, Bengaluru. Arun has more than three years of work experience in academic research and has comprehensive knowledge in Advanced Machining, Optimization techniques, Plant engineering and maintenance, solid mechanics, plasticity, and composite materials. Arun's skill lies in CAD modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), Image Analysis, design of experiments (DOE), material testing utilizing UTM, and data acquisition using various machine-specific software. He has hands-on experience in laying up and relieving polymer matrix composite materials and creating MMCs using stir casting technique. Arun is a GOLD MEDALIST and a former student at National Institute of Technology in Production Engineering, where he specialized in Computer Integrated Manufacturing. He has a GPA of 9.61/10 and was the topper of the department. His thesis was on Spark Electro Discharge Machining of Stir Cast Al5083-B4C Composite: A Soft Computational Study. Arun's graduate coursework included Advances in Machining Process, Finite Element Method, CAD/CAM, Metal Forming Technology, Plant Engineering & Maintenance, Advanced Optimization Techniques, Computer-Aided Process Planning, and Advances in Welding Technology. Arun has keen interest in fabrication of semiconductor devices. He is currently working as an Engineer in Collins Aerospace, Bengaluru, where he previously served as a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee. He also worked at National Institute of Technology Agartala as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. Arun's educational background includes a Master of Technology in Production Engineering from National Institute of Technology Agartala and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang (Parjang), Dhenkanal, Orissa. He also holds an Intermediate of Science (10+2) from SCS (Auto) College, Puri, and a High School degree from Puri Zilla School.
