He reinforced the frontend and created from scratch a backend REST API. He leveraged a slew of services such as Firebase’s Firestore noSQL database as well as WebSocket for real-time chat communication. Arvin also implemented a robust authentication mechanism with Google Oauth and Firebase auth as well as Bearer authorization. He fully documented the backend REST API and introduced OpenAPI 3 for integration with swagger. Additionally, he performed constant, extensive research for expansion opportunities to present to the client, as well as redesigning the frontend to tailor to a young target audience.
