Arvin Aminpour is a seasoned Software Engineer Team Lead with over 8 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, he is serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Team Lead on Creator Shops at Instagram. Prior to this, he has worked on various projects as an iOS and Server Engineer on the Instagram Explore and Account Security Teams. Arvin has an impressive work history, having worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. He has previously worked at Facebook as a Software Engineering Intern, where he worked on the Search Team on multiple projects, including Phrase Search. He also built an intern project, "Did You Mean," on top of FB's NLP stack to correct searches with misspelled words or phrases. Additionally, he has worked as an SDE Intern at Microsoft, where he worked on suggested/related articles for MSN News using Collaborative Filtering and in-house ML tools.
