Arvind Prasad is a highly motivated automobile engineer with a Btech degree in Automobile Engineering from Manipal University. He is skilled in Java, Python, SQL, HTML, and CSS, and is passionate about solving real-world problems using data. With 2.11 years of relevant experience, Arvind is currently working as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Automotive New Product Development & Operations at Sun Vacuum Formers Private Ltd. His responsibilities include developing new vehicle parts for Maruti Suzuki, preparing documents such as PFMEA, CP, PPAP, APQP, MSA, SPC, and submission to customers as per requirements, final inspection and testing of finished products, sample submission to customers, managing overall development-related operations, and ensuring timely accomplishment of efficiency and productivity targets. Arvind is also experienced in tooling, gauging, and VMM, and has knowledge of 3D software (Catia). Prior to his current role, Arvind worked as an Operations Intern at Escorts Limited, where he worked under the operations team in Tractor assembly plant, conducted line study and process establishment for Compact Electric tractors and New Generation series of tractors (C45 NETS), managed assembly line to roll out tractors with zero defects, and led a team of DETs for accomplishment of daily tasks at workplace. He also has exposure to TPM and 5S training systems and aimed to detect the problems during production which is causing leakage in the fuel injection pump of the tractor and find their solutions. Arvind has also worked as a Summer Trainee at Bosch, where he was introduced to Engine and its system, Auto electricals – starter motor & alternators, battery and electrical aggregates, Engine management system along with Scanner device for Petrol and Diesel, Diesel system contains a Fuel injection system and support system, and all equipment used in the workshop i.e. Wheel Aligner, Wheel balancer, Air Conditioner System, Tire changer, and Basics of transmission System. Arvind's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Automobile Engineering from Manipal University, 12th Boards from St. Lawrence Convent School - India, and 4th Class to 10th Class from Vanasthali Public School.
