Arvind Srivastava is an experienced engineering manager with a passion for designing and developing complex and large-sized applications. With over 13 years of relevant experience, he has a strong domain knowledge of the financial service industry, especially in trading and risk management, corporate actions processing, and wealth management. Arvind has extensive experience in leading large teams and is a servant leader who is hands-on with his team. He has in-depth knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud Platform and is a DevOps practitioner and extreme programmer. He has exposure to working in multicultural environments involving people from multiple geographies and has experience working in onshore-offshore software delivery models. Currently, Arvind is working as a Vice President at Macquarie Group, where he is responsible for leading the engineering team. Prior to this, he worked at Sapient and Markit in various roles, including Cloud Architect, Specialist, and Vice President. During his time at Sapient, he was responsible for the cloud migration of risk management applications to Google Cloud Platform and the cloud migration of trading applications to AWS cloud. He also played a key role in SCM migration from AccuRevTM to Git, build and release strategy, and CI/CD pipelines setup. Arvind has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from BITS Pilani and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from North-Eastern Hill University. His specialties include Java, Angular, Cloud, and FinTech. His tech stack includes AWS, Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, Java, CI/CD, and AngularJS.
