He has worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer in the past, gaining a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the industry. Before starting KitchenMate, Arwid was a part of the TechStars Winter 2018 Cohort and worked at Dispatcher, Inc. as a Software Engineer for Logistics. At Dispatcher, he was responsible for creating the automated bidding system that won jobs for hundreds of drivers, integrating it with a driver-facing app, and building a real-time dashboard for the operational team. Arwid holds a BASc in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, along with a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. He has a strong educational background, which has helped him develop a unique perspective on the industry.
