Aseem Anand is an Engineering Manager with a strong background in Engineering and a passion for delivering innovative solutions that improve efficiency and enhance quality while reducing cost. A self-starter, Aseem works well independently or with a team. Currently working at Werkspot as an Engineering Manager, Aseem is leading a team of software developers to develop an application to connect service professionals and homeowners. He is responsible for hiring, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Managers, UX leads, and Agile coaches. Aseem is also managing the team budget, including hiring and appraisal decisions for team members. Before joining Werkspot, Aseem worked at Works Applications Co., Ltd. as a Software Development Manager. There, he was responsible for hands-on design and development of mission-critical tasks and performance enhancements. He participated in code reviews and established best practices for development and quality control within the team. Aseem was also responsible for the preparation of release roadmaps and ensuring necessary execution for customer success. He successfully launched a Cost module as a part of the Supply Chain Management product and led a team to develop a SaaS email application with enterprise-grade security and integration with ERP systems. Aseem's past experience also includes a summer internship at IBM, where he implemented data analytics algorithms to validate and benchmark performance of in-memory Map-Reduce system developed to run over the Blue Gene/P supercomputer. Aseem holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science from the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT). He is proficient in Senior Software Engineering, Software Engineering, NoSQL, Elastic Search, Microservices, and Integration. With 1.78 years of relevant experience, Aseem is a valuable asset to any team he works with.
