Aseem Jakhar is an accomplished entrepreneur and cybersecurity expert with over 18 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in Internet of Things (IoT) security, embedded/hardware security, mobile security, security software development, and security training. He is the author of the EXPLIoT framework, an open-source IoT security testing and exploitation framework, and has contributed to several other open-source projects such as Jugaad, Indroid, DIVA Android, and Dexfuzzer. Aseem is also a renowned speaker and has conducted security training and delivered keynote speeches at various prestigious events such as Blackhat USA/Asia, Hack in the box Amsterdam, Brucon, and Hack in Paris, among others. He has also spoken at several international conferences and events, including Defcon, Moscow 2014, and TechFest, IIT Mumbai 2018. Currently, Aseem is a Work Group Member with ISO/IEC SC27, where he is developing international standards on IoT security and privacy. He is also an Expert in Internet of Things with iso - international organization for standardization. Previously, he co-founded expliot, where he solved IoT security and compliance issues, and hardwear.io, a hardware security conference and training platform. Aseem holds an M.C.A. in Computer Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth and has a strong technical background in Android, mobile, and software engineering. He has also received education from Kendriya Vidyalaya and SCHM.
