Ash Rust is a pre-seed B2B investor with extensive experience in entrepreneurship and venture capital. He is currently the Managing Partner of Sterling Road, a venture fund that specializes in pre-seed stage B2B companies. Ash has a passion for supporting early-stage startups and has mentored hundreds of them through accelerator programs such as Y-Combinator, Techstars, and Alchemist, as well as universities like Stanford, UC Berkeley, and Oxford. Before becoming an investor, Ash was the Co-founder and CEO of SendHub, which was acquired by Cameo Global after going through Y-Combinator W12. He also served as the Director of Ranking at Klout, which was acquired by Lithium. Ash's experience as an entrepreneur gives him a unique perspective that he uses to coach and advise the startups he invests in. Ash holds a Masters in Computer Science from Oxford and served as an Officer in the British Army. He currently resides in San Francisco and invests in startups based in the US and Canada.
