Ashar Shahid is a passionate and dedicated Master's student in Computer Science at New York University with a strong interest in coding and blockchain solutions in the financial sector. With over 2.5 years of relevant experience, he has honed his skills in writing and testing Solidity code, using Ethers.js, and running hardhat nodes locally. Currently, he is working as an Open Source Protocol Developer at api3, where he has helped on the protocol side of the Request Response Protocol for airnodes. Ashar's previous experience includes co-founding and leading the development of SwipeUp News, a news curation and aggregation platform that provides verified news from 50+ sources in a single app. He was also a co-founder and lead developer at LastCampus, a platform where students can connect with their classmates, colleagues, and teachers. Ashar's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, and he is expected to complete his Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University in 2023. His tech stack includes AWS, Solidity, Blockchain, Docker, and Javascript. Ashar is a voracious reader, and his reading has strengthened his skills and presentation abilities.
