Ashik Some is a dynamic professional with over 7 years of profound experience in Operations Management, Process Excellence, and Product Development. He is currently pursuing a PGPEX-VLM program from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, IIT Kanpur & IIT Madras, where he is also serving as a Class Representative. Ashik has a strong proficiency in digitalization, electrical design, value Analysis & value engineering, and stakeholder management in the Manufacturing Sector. He has worked with leading companies like KK Wind Solutions, Zero-Zone, Elgi, and Denso in various roles. At KK Wind Solutions, Ashik served as a Lead Cost Excellence, where he was responsible for value analysis (VOC, DFMEA, Design calculation, Comparison, ZPS, ZCD study, etc.) of electrical circuit & components. He also led cost out activities and located potential cost out ideas in terms of Design, Dual sourcing, Running & Service, Supplier, Horizontal deployment, etc. Ashik also managed CFT discussion & co-ordination, cost estimation & savings calculation, business case, one-pager, implementation cost preparation for the customer, supplier selection, and customer interaction. At Zero Zone, Ashik worked as an Electrical Design Engineer, where he designed & developed electrical parts, control panel, wiring harness, HMI panel, and managed BOM preparation, standard parts selection, and implementation of KAIZEN. He also managed CR, CO, BOM, product database management (PDM), documents management, and design review. Ashik also suggested new product development ideas for freezer & cases (Remote, Hybrid) systems and ensured on-time delivery, inter-department collaboration, and project track. Ashik holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from NIT Agartala. He also completed his HSSC from Kendriya Vidyalaya and SSC from Kendriya Vidyalaya. With his extensive experience and expertise in operations management, process excellence, and product development, Ashik is a valuable asset to any organization.
