Ashima Kohli is a business leader, board advisor, passionpreneur, and humanitarian with over 20 years of relevant experience. She is currently associated with Bharat O2, a social initiative aimed at designing and deploying oxygen concentrators that are simple, scalable, and built with locally available parts. As the Generating Oxygen Locally, Ashima is leading the mission to solve India's oxygen concentrator shortage problem through decentralized, community-driven, indigenous design innovations. These innovations are aimed to empower the community, be adopted by SME and manufacturers across India and globally, and mass-produce Oxygen concentrators that are easily replicable, scalable to higher oxygen outflow, affordable by masses, and built with locally available parts. Prior to her current role, Ashima has helped several startups in their 360 growth journey from seed to scale as a business advisor. She also founded inservice covid care not for profit with a mission to support Covid impacted patients and families across India. Through this initiative, she provided job support to those seeking it and Covid 19 support, including free helplines, volunteer groups, bots that provide verified information and support on Covid19, hospitals/covid centers, plasma coordinators/banks, test labs, medicines, ambulance services, oxygen cylinders/refill stations/concentrators, vaccination support, meals, and Covid essentials. Ashima holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), where she was a Gold Medalist and earned a First class with Distinction. She also has a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University. Her tech stack includes decentralised, AI, and test. Overall, Ashima is a visionary leader with a passion for converting business vision into reality and ideas into scale.
