Ashima Sood is a highly skilled Data Analyst with a passion for merging data and science with technology. With over 4 years of relevant experience, she has a strong knowledge of data mining and visualization, as well as experience in Python development and Hadoop. Ashima is always eager to learn and upskill herself, with a particular interest in Docker and Kubernetes. Currently working as a Data Analyst 2 at nineleaps, Ashima is the point of contact for any data-related requirements from the clients, particularly Uber Technologies Inc. Her responsibilities include creating complex ETL pipelines, performing data quality checks for large and complex datasets, and analyzing results and interpreting trends in data. She works closely with the DE team to solve various JIRA tickets, which involves creating and maintaining Adtech plugins and data pipelines. Ashima is also responsible for coding in multiple languages like Python or Ruby to create plugins and connectors used for sending out and fetching ROI/audience data from partners like Facebook and AdWords. Prior to her current role, Ashima worked as a Data Analyst 1 at nineleaps and as a Data Analyst at Amazon. At Amazon, she fulfilled any data-related requirement from seller account managers, product managers, project managers, team leads, etc. Her responsibilities included analyzing the requirement from stakeholders and presenting the implementation approach, creating ETL pipelines and data tables on a regular basis, creating queries and reports for daily/weekly deliveries, and creating and sharing weekly and monthly reports along with week over week changes and trends. Ashima holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jaipur National University, completed in 2018. Her tech stack includes SQL, Python, ETL, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Hadoop.
