Ashish Gupta is a highly experienced Database Administrator with over 10 years of experience in IT. He has expertise in database administration, analysis, development, design, modelling, monitoring, and support. Ashish has worked with both RDBMS (Oracle/Postgresql) and NoSql databases (Apache Cassandra, Graphdb) and has experience in Banking and Financial Services (BFSI), Retail, and E-Commerce domains. He has completed hands-on projects in Cassandra Administration, including installation, configuration, tuning, add/remove node/DC, upgradation, backup, and monitoring. Ashish has also worked on Postgresql Administration and Development with end-to-end migration. He has strong query writing, tuning, and optimization skills and has worked extensively on DB objects such as procedures, functions, triggers, cursors, packages, partitioning, types, materialized views, dynamic SQL, indexes, synonyms, and collections. Ashish has experience in working at client sites for Production Support, New Enhancements, and Knowledge Transfer. He has also set up a Fraud system using Neo4j Graph DB. He has been involved in Requirement gathering, Implementation of New Enhancements, and Database Design as per the business needs along with Technical documentation and Production Support. In the past, Ashish has worked with Nagarro as a Senior Associate Technology on a Database Re-factoring Project for a European Bank. He has also worked with Nucleus Software as a Software Engineer on the complete end-to-end implementation of multiple enhancements in the Banking domain. Ashish holds a B.tech degree in Computer Science from UPTU and has completed his Intermediate and Matriculation from Meerut Public School and St Thomas English Medium School, respectively.
