Ashish Gupta is a passionate entrepreneur and software consultant with over 12 years of experience in IT consulting, pre-sales, and project deliverables. He is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of FretBox, a proptech SAAS digital assistant platform for hostels and PGs. Ashish is a skilled planner, hiring manager, and team leader with expertise in development and execution. He has also spent 20 years in various small family businesses, ranging from selling groceries to pipes, books, cement, plots, lands, bikes, and insurance. With 4 years of parallel entrepreneurship, Ashish has had multiple failed and successful stints, which have honed his skills as an enthusiastic leader and team member. He is focused on customer growth and happiness, investment, execution, and delivery, leading the business from the front. Ashish is also experienced in raising seed investment and is currently digitally transforming hostels to improve the living experience for students and young professionals. Before founding FretBox, Ashish worked as a Technical Specialist at HCL, where he was a technical advisor for WebSphere Portal Solutions. He also worked as a Consultant at American Express Middle East, where he was responsible for project delivery and technical leadership. He started the solution from scratch two years prior and constantly delivered updates. Ashish holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from KIIT University Bhubaneshwar. He also attended Khalsa Inter College from 2001 to 2003. As a Senior Software Engineer, Ashish has relevant experience of 13.60 years in the industry.
