Ashish Kumar is a seasoned Director/Architect - Data at 6sense, with over a decade of experience in data technologies. He leads the solution architecture team at Qubole for India/ME/Israel regions, working with some of the data leaders in the region and helping them achieve their business goals driven by data. Ashish has strong experience in building/architecting scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective big data systems, including solutions around ETL/ELT pipelines, analytics, and AI/ML on top of multiple public clouds like AWS, Azure, and Google. As a technology evangelist, Ashish believes that there's always a solution. He has authored several blogs on data technologies, which are available on his LinkedIn profile and Stack Exchange. Ashish has also contributed to open-source projects on GitHub. In his previous role as Technical Director at Qubole, Ashish worked on the implementation and design of scalable big data architecture for companies in E-Commerce, Cab aggregator, Ad-tech, Logistics, Media, and other industries. He participated in customer workshops and presented proposed solutions, designed, implemented, and deployed high-performance, custom applications at scale on big data stack, reviewed and audited existing solutions, and performed/helped troubleshoot proposed solutions. Ashish mentored the SA team in the APAC region and took care of Pre/Post Sales tasks, including Technical POCs, Expansion opportunities, and worked with cross-functional teams - Product, Sales, Support, CSMs, Engineering. Ashish holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi. He has relevant experience of 15.19 years as a Senior Software Engineer, working on Big Data, AWS, AI, ML, ETL, and Azure technologies.
