Ashish Kumar is a seasoned engineer with over 8 years of experience in the industry. He has worked with different tech stacks in fintech, service, and product-based companies. He is a hard-core Django/Python and JavaScript developer who practices clean code and solid designs. Currently, Ashish works as a Senior Software Engineer/ICE/Tech Lead at PayU, the flagship company of Naspers Group. PayU provides payment gateway solutions to online businesses through its cutting-edge, very fast, and award-winning tech-stacks. He has completely handled frontend and backend architecture, deployment, CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and has good hands in setting up the testing and UAT environments for testers. Prior to his current role, Ashish has worked with Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. as an Assistant Service & sp. Exc. and with Datum Hill Software Pvt. Lmt. as a Principal Engineer. At Konica Minolta, he was responsible for PAN India printers product technologies, while at Datum Hill, he closely communicated with clients to understand the business requirements for projects, worked on developing end-to-end websites and plugins, and automated analytics reports and set-up crons for different services. Ashish holds a B.Tech degree in Information Technology, a Masters/Post-grad in Human Rights, and has completed courses in AI/ML, NLP & advanced computing from Stanford University and Management and Innovation from Copenhagen Business School.
