Ashish Misra is a highly skilled Machine Learning Architect with extensive experience in FPGA Design, SoC Verification, Validation, Characterization, Application Engineering and Product Engineering. He has exposure to various platforms, tools, and languages, including Xilinx tools, Altera, Rasberrypi, Microcontrollers, ARM architectures, Modelsim, Prooteus(x86systems), PSOC, NOC, Verilog/VHDL, Matlab, C/Python, Linux operating system, UML, SystemC, and Device drivers programming. He has developed proficiency in LLVM compiler, Yakindu, Rhapsody, Keil compiler, and uCOS-II. With a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Reconfigurable Computing from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Ashish has expert knowledge of RTL design, modeling, and test benches using VHDL/Verilog. He also has expert knowledge of FPGA architecture, Xilinx 6 series, 7 series, Ultrascale, ZYNQ APSoC & MPSoC, and IPs development for PLB and AXI buses interface. He has good knowledge of Digital logic circuit design and can understand synthesis reports, perform timing analysis, and write FPGA design constraints. Ashish has experience in building test benches and bus functional models for FPGA simulation. He possesses good organization skills, with a logical approach to problem-solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills. He is proactive and can work with a minimum of supervision. Ashish has experience and the ability to manage a collaborative team. Currently, Ashish is working as a Senior Software Engineer 2 at AMD. In the past, he has worked as a Senior Software Engineer 2 at Xilinx and as a Post-doctoral Research Associate at the National Center of Supercomputing Applications University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, where he worked on accelerator design for Deep Neural networks. In addition to his Ph.D., Ashish holds a Master’s Degree in Embedded Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Shivdan Singh Instt. of Tech. & Management Iglas, Aligarh.
