Ashish Nigam is a Senior Product Manager at BrowserStack with over 11 years of experience in product management and software development. He is the idea owner and innovator of the product name ExpressPlay Ads, an enterprise-level software for "In-stream media Ad insertion" in OTT domain. Ashish has played the role of an individual contributor and led teams of people with different technologies and cultural backgrounds. He has worked closely with finance, operation, sales, marketing, business strategy, and stakeholders of the company. Apart from being a Product Manager, Ashish has also worked as an Engineering Manager, handling a team of around 10-12 people, a mix of Mobile, Backend & Data Science engineers. He has taken hands-on experience in technologies like Mobile Apps, SDKs, Backend Technologies, REST APIs, Advertisements (VAST, MRAID, Video & Display), Over the Top (OTT) streaming, HLS Protocol, MPEG-DASH protocol & Media Streaming. At BrowserStack, Ashish is responsible for growth and product improvements of Percy, a visual testing platform. He is responsible for product features, roadmap, stakeholders, and customer management. There has been significant improvement in the product over the last couple of years, which has helped deliver 6x revenue and customer growth. Previously, Ashish worked as a Product Manager and Engineering Manager at Intertrust, where he was responsible for the product design, deployment, managing cross-team communication, working with solution architects, and discussing with key stakeholders. He managed product demo, marketing & worked with the sales team to deploy product sales strategies. Ashish has a B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Hindustan Institute of Technology. His relevant experience includes product management, testing, mobile, backend, data scientist, senior software engineer, frontend, big data, software engineer, product designer, and integration.
