Ashish Poddar is a Senior Engineering Manager at Flipkart with over 16 years of experience in software engineering. He is currently actively looking for developers at various levels. Ashish's passion for computers began when he was in 10th standard during a summer camp. He soon became proficient in GWBASIC, ROM settings, and Windows 3.11, and even learned how to transfer data between two systems using a hard disk. Ashish's interest in computer engineering continued into his 11th and 12th standard education, where he completed a full course at TULEC covering C language and Unix. He then went on to study Pascal at school and learned C# during his MS. After his first full-time job, Ashish dedicated himself to Java, which remains his area of expertise to this day. Ashish has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bloomberg, where he was part of the Infrastructure Team that owned the services behind empowering the Bloomberg Terminal. He has also worked with Gob, C++, and LuaScript. Ashish holds a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, an MTech in Laser Science and Applications from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the same university. He also completed his Higher Secondary education from South Indian Cultural Association School, Indore. Ashish's tech stack includes Senior Software Engineer, Java, Javascript, Software Engineer, and infra. His extensive experience and expertise make him an excellent candidate for any software engineering role.
