Ashish Sheelavantar is a Lead Engineer at ANZ with a passion for technology and a drive to build reliable and efficient solutions. With over 20 years of relevant experience in the Financial Services Industry, Ashish has a wealth of technical knowledge and expertise in Java, Python, React.js, Big Data Hadoop Stack/spark, CI CD stack, Containerisation/Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, and various databases such as Oracle, DB2, HBASE, BigTable, Postgresql, MongoDB, and Teradata. Ashish's domain experience includes Regulatory Reporting, Retail, and Credit Cards/Loyalty in the Banking Financial Industry. He has contributed to various projects at ANZ, including backend development using Java Springboot, Hadoop development using Python and Java, frontend development using React.js, K8 configuration setup, and CI CD Setup using Bamboo and Helm charts. Prior to ANZ, Ashish worked as a Technical Architect at Infosys, where he was responsible for solution and design of Forfeiture functionality in Loyalty Applications, solution for huge data migration, downtime reduction for Rebates and Cobrand Loyalty Applications, and proof of concept evaluation on Legacy modernization and re-engineering programs. Ashish holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University, as well as a Pre-University Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology from Karnataka Science College, Dharwad, and a high school degree in Science from Basel Mission High School. Ashish's technical skills extend beyond his professional experience, as evidenced by his GitHub profile and Stack Overflow contributions. In the future, he hopes to use his passion for technology to make life easier for differently abled individuals through innovative solutions.
