Ashish Tewari is a highly experienced and self-motivated technology leader with over 18 years of experience in managing large, strategic software teams and product architecture efforts. He is currently the SVP and Head of Engineering at Niyo Global and Niyo X, where he is responsible for hiring MEAN/MERN stack and Flutter professionals. Ashish has been instrumental in setting up various technology teams from scratch and has worked in various domains, including Fin-tech, E-commerce, E-Procurement, Payment Gateway Integrations, Travel, Retail, and Healthcare. Prior to joining Niyo, Ashish worked as the Director of Software Development at Oracle, where he was responsible for central services and infrastructure that automate the build, test, and delivery of software updates to Oracle customers and to the Oracle Cloud. He also headed the India Development Centre (IDC) for automation and was instrumental in setting up the systems using which Oracle was able to produce 95% DB patches automatically. Ashish has also worked as the Associate Director of Technology at MakeMyTrip, where he helmed IT strategy and operations improvements as a technology leader in one of the top e-commerce companies in India. He was part of the tech-leadership team which led the company to a dream listing at NASDAQ and played a critical role for companies that MMT has acquired or set up in Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand. Ashish holds an EPBM from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, an MCA from Indira Gandhi National Open University, and a B.Sc. from the University of Allahabad. He is skilled in Senior Software Engineering, Software Engineering, Flutter, CI/CD, Test, DevOps, and Infra. With 16.21 years of relevant experience, Ashish is an adaptable and experienced professional who has a proven track record of delivering results in complex and challenging environments.
