Ashna Srivastav is a Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft Vancouver with over 5 years of relevant experience. She has an educational background in Computer Science, having completed a btech + mtech degree from IIT Delhi in 2018 and a PCM+Computer Science degree from D.A.V. Centenary Public School, Chander Nagar, UP in 2001. Currently, Ashna is working with the Azure IoT Mobility Team at Microsoft to design and develop RESTful components for the microservices architecture in the vehicle's Edge system. Her work involves identifying tools and technology to run on the edge layer which can solve customer requirements and deliver accelerators based on them. She also designs and develops components along with a performance-driven microservice architecture, utilizing Azure Pipelines to build and test the components for product delivery with E2E testing. Additionally, Ashna is responsible for performance analysis and identifying throttling and bottlenecks in communication within the microservices architecture. Prior to her current role, Ashna worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where she contributed to the development of various projects related to the Connected Vehicle Platform (CVP) in Azure. She also worked as a Software Intern at Autodesk, where she worked on applications for Fusion Production App Framework. Ashna's tech stack includes skills in Software Engineering, Microservices, Azure, test, and Research Scientist. She is passionate about innovation, research, and collaboration with customers to create end-to-end customized solutions.
