Ashok Sahoo is a seasoned Product Engineer with over 10 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently employed at SuperFone, where he is responsible for overseeing the development of new products and features. With a strong background in software engineering, Ashok possesses a diverse skill set that includes expertise in areas such as test, Javascript, AWS, infra, ETL, Golang, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, Terraform, SRE, Java, Elastic Search, Mobile, Backend, NodeJS, New Relic, Amazon Athena, PHP, MySQL, Jenkins, Redux, Microservices, DevOps, Search, and Frontend. Prior to joining SuperFone, Ashok worked at Vedantu and Byju's, where he held senior software engineering positions. At Vedantu, he led the VQuiz Platform Team to build the in-house live game platform and worked on upgrading the test platform to capture more data points from a test. He also managed ETL, clickstream, data warehousing, cost optimization, and security hardening for the entire infrastructure by working with external vendors. At Byju's, Ashok was responsible for onboarding new payment and loan providers on the e-commerce platform, handling the credit process for BYJU’s e-commerce platform, and working on ACH and E-Mandates for automated collection. Ashok holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Chemical Engineering from NIT Rourkela, where he graduated in 2012. He also completed his schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2006.
