Ashutosh Sameer is a skilled software professional with experience in service design, development cycle, and testing. He has worked as a Software Engineer in Global Markets Division at Goldman Sachs, Bangalore. Currently, he is a graduate student at Columbia Engineering, enrolled in its M.S. in Computer Science program with a Machine Learning track. Ashutosh is proficient in Service Design, System Development, Web Services, Analysis, System Design, Analytical Skills, and Critical Thinking. He is seeking opportunities to cultivate and further hone his skills in Software Engineering, Machine Learning, and challenge him intellectually. He is currently working as a Summer Intern at Greetude Energy, where he developed a portal with device specifications as input and gave an output of a better replacement using PHP (MVC architecture) and MySQL database. He also designed a platform for students enrolled to see periodic test reports and lost marks analysis at one place. Furthermore, he created an online Expense Management system using different Web technologies and PHP. Ashutosh has previously worked as Tech Team Sub Head and Tech Team Head at Spring Fest, where he designed the Nation Wide Prelims, SF Idol Website of Spring Fest 2017, operated the registration portal of the Spring Fest 2017, and did the Front-end part of the Mobile Website of Spring Fest 2017 in AngularJS framework. He also created the Beta website of Spring Fest 2018 using Materialize CSS (Google Materials) and created a Campus Ambassador (CA) Portal integrated with Facebook (Graph API) to track and analyze the fest’s Facebook publicity activities by CAs with the backend on Laravel(PHP Framework). He created the API for Spring Fest 2018 for registrations and management in Laravel. Ashutosh has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Columbia University, a Bachelor of Technology - BTech from IIT Kharagpur with a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science and Engineering. He completed his high school education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Physical Education from Delhi Public School. Ashutosh has experience working with various technologies such as Software Engineering, ML, UI, Web, Java, Selenium, test, Kubernetes, Docker, Frontend, Infra, Spring Boot, Spring, Python, and AngularJS.
