Ashwani Garg is the Co-founder & CEO of Kalpnik, India's largest multi-faith, multi-lingual OTT platform for devotion experiences. He is responsible for bringing contents from 300+ devotion partners to 7M+ monthly active users on its properties (VR DEVOTEE App, Web, Alexa, VR App) and partner (Airtel, Dailyhunt etc) channels. Under his leadership, Kalpnik became India's only company to work with Hotstar for bringing LIVE VR Coverage of IPL 2019 and exclusive coverage of World's largest Spiritual events such as "Kumbh" in collaboration with Govt. Ashwani has raised $500K by marquee investors such as Venture Catalyst and senior executives from Qualcomm, Cisco, GE and Google. Kalpnik is judged "2019- Emerging Top 50" Companies by NASSCOM and covered by 200+ publications including BBC, Economic Times, Hindustan Times etc. Prior to Kalpnik, Ashwani worked as a consultant & advisor for Global Multinationals & Startup, where he developed strategic partnerships and pilot engagements for a Health AI Product for a Global Tech Major, developed strategy for Healthcare product line, analyzed & recommended to the executive team of a global semiconductor leader to enter a new market segment, provided business strategy, roadmap and product management for Executive Director of an Australian Smart Home Company, and advised many Tech startups on Business strategy, Product strategy, Go to Market, Ecosystem connects, fundraise and operational Issues. He also worked as Director APAC - Smart Home and Buildings at Intel, where he created Intel's global strategy and delivered the first IoT smart home gateway in <$1M and <12 months by co-innovating with 7+ partners, early design wins with 25+ customers in APAC and Europe, and drove Intel’s thought leadership through leading-edge concepts showcased in global events (ex: CES, Computex etc.). Ashwani holds a BE in Computer Science from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT). He is skilled in Web3, Web, and AI and has a relevant experience of 30.13 years.
