Ashwani Nandanwar is a Chemical Engineering graduate from IIT Kanpur with over 7 years of experience in the industry. He began his career as a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Reliance Industries and moved on to Reliance Technology Group as a Technologist, providing technical support to Polypropylene Manufacturing plants across various sites. Ashwani has advanced exposure to Unipol gas phase Polypropylene technology licensed by W.R Grace. He also worked as a Facilities Engineer at Exxon Mobil, supporting Upstream assets in Alberta, Canada. Currently, Ashwani is working as a Licensing and Process Engineer with W.R. Grace specialty chemical business. He is skilled in Process Engineering, Plant Startup and Troubleshooting, HAZOP study, Unit Debottlenecking, Engineering reviews including Heat and Mass Balance, Conceptual study, P&ID reviews, Process Optimization, and Advance Process Control. His technical skills include basic programming languages such as C/C++, Matlab, and advanced simulation software including Aspen Plus/HYSYS, HTRI, Petrosim/PHAST, and Data Analytics software - Tableau, SEEQ, and JMP. Ashwani has research experience from Polytechnic Technolac in France after graduation, where he worked independently to carry out computational work in fluid dynamics under the mentorship of Professor Christian Ruyer Quil. He has a keen interest in music and playing cricket during his leisure time. In his previous roles, Ashwani has provided advanced technical support to RIL Unipol PP across different sites, process and technology support for PP plants during process or product quality optimization/improvement/development, plant trials, start-up & shutdown, and debottlenecking, new grade, catalyst & chemical development, and energy conservation schemes. He has also led/participated in Technology networking activities for PP plants.
