Ashwij Madhusudan Rao is a Design Engineer at Plejd with 3.77 years of relevant experience in the automotive and mechanical industry. His passion for the close-up view of automotive components, for which he had built machines, inspired him to take up M.Sc. Before joining Plejd, Ashwij worked as a Master Thesis Student at Autoliv, where he worked on analyzing road crashes and the effectiveness of countermeasures using Indian in-depth crash data. He evaluated the potential of large-scale introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems in the Indian vehicle fleet. Ashwij also worked as a Project Coordinator at Chalmers University of Technology, where he was responsible for monitoring the project to help newly admitted international students at Chalmers. Due to COVID-19, Ashwij and his team successfully executed the project remotely, which consisted of a few hundred current students meeting over a thousand prospective students. Ashwij's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The National Institute of Engineering and a Pre-University Course in Physical and Formal Sciences from Vivekananda Pre-University College. He also holds two Master's degrees from Chalmers University of Technology, one in Automotive Engineering and the other in an unspecified field.
