Ashwin Ramananda is a Senior Software Engineer at Adobe with a passion for building innovative software products. He believes that passion, hard work, and patience are key elements for success. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Ashwin has worked with a variety of technologies including MongoDB, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Golang, Selenium, CI/CD, Javascript, and MySQL. Ashwin's past experience includes working as a Software Development Intern at Cisco, where he proposed an approach to monitor and improve MongoDB query performance. He also wrote python scripts and a Go program to parse the log files collected from MongoDB container to find out slow query patterns, generate reports, and send them to S3 cloud. Additionally, he was responsible for writing a Dockerfile, building the Docker image and container to run the service, and presenting the demo to the whole team. He engaged in testing the service in dev-cloud and got the microservice set up in production by writing an ansible script and running the microservice as a stateless job on the cloud. Ashwin also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Intellinum Inc, where he was responsible for the design, development, and testing of a full-stack web application using Java, JSP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySql, Maven, and Tomcat. He developed a script using YAML for the complete automation of the CI/CD pipeline using Git as a code repository and ant as a build tool. Additionally, he was responsible for the implementation of a log parser to filter out the log files to a specific format according to the client specification. He also implemented a functional and data-driven testing framework using Selenium, TestNG, and used Apache POI for data-driven testing. Ashwin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology. He also completed his Pre-University College from MES of Arts Science and Commerce and his Primary, Secondary, and High School from St. Mary's Convent.
