Ashwini Dongre is a Lead Software Engineer at Persistent Systems with a passion for drawing new insights from data using machine learning for document capture and imaging and towards containerization technologies to automate workflows for building a robust end-to-end content management lifecycle. She has industry experience in building web applications and testing them using automated testing software. Ashwini has worked with Angular and Robot frameworks and has experience working with Node.js and Python. Ashwini has been working in the enterprise content management domain for a few years and has gained expertise in content extraction logic using heuristics technique. She has also worked on defects raised by the QA team and on the integration of the product output with Kibana for displaying the processing statistics graphically on the Kibana dashboard. Ashwini has technically led the Designer UI team with client requirement understanding, assignment, and tracking of tasks and client interaction. Before her current role as a Lead Software Engineer, Ashwini worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at Persistent Systems. As a Senior Software Engineer, she implemented test scripts for automating the manual test processes to verify UI functionality. She monitored, reported, and fixed regressions found in build verification testing. As a Software Engineer, Ashwini created Machine Learning based Natural Language Processing models using IBM Watson and open-source NLP libraries. She also created User Interface components using Angular 6 and worked on API development using Node.js. Ashwini completed her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Vishwakarma Institute of Information Technology in 2017.
